We’re thrilled to be participating in the series of events put on by our friends at Daniel Boone Regional Library as part of the annual “One Read” program. This year’s book is the brilliant Nomadland, by Jessica Bruder, a stunning exploration of this century’s new migrant workers.
The book addresses many different themes, including travel, shelter, financial security, aging, resilience, community and human ingenuity. On Thursday, September 19, we’ll be hosting an evening of poetry readings and discussion with local authors centered around these themes. Don’t miss it!
